It'll be a hard act to follow next season. Dave, Brighouse Use the 'Send us your views' box I know Saints have a lot of games this month but I strongly believe they will finish fifth. Robert, Southampton HT: Wrexham 1-2 Southampton Turning the focus away from this game for a moment, news emerged today that Wrexham goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo is now eligible to represent Nigeria after his international switch of allegiance from England was approved by Fifa. Born in Camden to Nigerian parents, Okonkwo represented England at various youth levels, including under-18, during his time at Arsenal. The 24-year-old joined Wrexham on a season-long loan in 2023 before making the move permanent in the summer of 2024. HT: Wrexham 1-2 Southampton Waynne Phillips Former Wrexham midfielder on BBC Radio Wales This game isn't done yet, Southampton will know that. For 25-30 minutes, they were cruising and they looked the best team I've seen at Wrexham this season. But then you could see faults in their play that suggest to me that Wrexham can certainly go on to get the next goal. Can they make it a special night at the Stok Cae Ras? Use the 'Send us your views' box Switched over from the Champions League games - this game is far more exciting. June, Larne HT: Wrexham 1-2 Southampton Ian Mitchelmore BBC Sport Wales at Stok Cae Ras What an enthralling second half we have ahead of us. Wrexham looked destined for a grim defeat after half an hour, but they significantly improved in the final 15 minutes or so to keep themselves in this contest. A quick glance at the two benches may be rather concerning for Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson, though. Tonda Eckert has an incredible amount of talent at his disposal. Still, everything to play for here in north Wales. Use the 'Send us your views' box Saints have more goals in this one and plenty on the bench. Wrexham have gambled with all their forwards starting. Keith, Southampton HT: Wrexham 1-2 Southampton Waynne Phillips Former Wrexham midfielder on BBC Radio Wales You have to admire the quality that was shown by Southampton in that period where they went 2-0 up. I thought they were terrific. But there has been a response, at least, from Wrexham. It's not been brilliant but they have a goal that gives them a chance in the game. I think we all need a breather. What a first half! Southampton were brilliant as they opened up a 2-0 lead, looking like they might run away with this clash of Championship play-off rivals. But as they so often do, Wrexham have forced themselves back into the contest. Wrexham 1-2 Southampton Ryan Manning's left-footed delivery from the free-kick is cleared but Southampton are on the attack again, with Finn Azaz's firm low strike well held by Arthur Okonkwo. Wrexham 1-2 Southampton Southampton are finishing the first half strongly, stretching the opposing defence. They'll have a free-kick around 30 yards out as George Dobson fouls Finn Azaz. One minute left of first-half stoppage time. Wrexham 1-2 Southampton Southampton stem the flow of Wrexham pressure and get a corner as Ryan Manning's cross from the left is blocked by George Dobson. James Bree swings in the set-piece but it's headed away by Kieffer Moore. There will be four minutes of added time. Wrexham 1-2 Southampton Ian Mitchelmore BBC Sport Wales at Stok Cae Ras All of a sudden, it's the home side winning the gritty battles and the 50: 50s. Issa Kabore wins one this time, and George Dobson plays a sumptuous ball to Kieffer Moore who can't quite get a shot away. After a pretty torrid opening 30 minutes, Wrexham have been magnificent in the last 12 minutes or so. Wrexham 1-2 Southampton Waynne Phillips Former Wrexham midfielder on BBC Radio Wales Southampton know they are in a game now. They didn't for 20 minutes, they were comfortable and cruising, but now they know that this is a difficult place to get over the line. Use the 'Send us your views' box Don't write Wrexham off just yet, there's a second half to come. Just saying. Bill, Kidwelly Wrexham 1-2 Southampton Wrexham have their tails up now, Nathan Broadhead firing in a dangerous cross from the left which is collected by Saints keeper Daniel Peretz, before Kieffer Moore almost gets a shot away. And now Josh Windass fires over. Some game, this. Use the 'Send us your views' box Unfortunately, I think the Hollywood story ends this season for Wrexham - the teams above them have just that little bit more quality and have been together longer. Maybe next season? Sam, Penygarn Wrexham 1-2 Southampton It almost opens up for Wrexham and Josh Windass but he's forced wide and has a shot blocked, while Kieffer Moore pleads for a pass. Use the 'Send us your views' box Utterly baffled why Moore jumping on Harwood-Bellis and flattening him isn’t a foul. Dennis, Cambridge Wrexham 1-2 Southampton Now it's Southampton's turn to go direct, with Kuryu Matsuki lifting the ball over the Wrexham defence for Cyle Larin, who shoots over from a promising position.
