Thanks for your company tonight. The big headline is that Rangers are now in second place, three points behind Hearts. A shame two of the games were postponed. It's almost time for the highlights on Sportscene. You can watch on BBC One Scotland or follow the link at the top of this page. We'll be back with Scottish Cup action over the weekend. Livingston 1-2 Falkirk Falkirk manager John Mc Glynn tells BBC Scotland : "I think in the second half we made it hard for ourselves. I
think in the first half we played extremely well. "We were delighted at half-time and asked for more of the
same. "Fair play to Livingston, they got
that goal back early. And then we just have to make sure we hang on and win
the game, which we eventually did. "It was a bit nerve-wracking and we made it a bit more difficult
for ourselves than it needed to be. "We’ve not got the greatest record here so it is all about
winning. It was a bit more stressful than it needed to be. " FT: Hibernian 3-2 Dundee United Hibernian head coach David Gray tells BBC Scotland: "The biggest thing is we found a way to win. That's the most pleasing thing. "We need to use that winning feeling as a way to kick on. Delighted with that because threw the squad together, quite stretched, a few niggles. "You have to credit Dundee United. I felt we still had the best chance of the second half with [Martin] Boyle to go 2-0. Then it was a game of set-pieces from that point. "Extremely disappointed to lose the two goals from set-pieces - it just shows you the importance of them in any league, it's decided the game tonight. " On Nicky Cadden's contribution, he adds: "It's something Nicky's always had, that delivery. For Ante [Suto] coming in - a dream debut for him - it was a fantastic header. "We will get better. There's a lot of players listening to me for the first time and understanding Scottish football. It sets us up lovely going into a derby. " FT: Hibernian 3-2 Dundee United Ha! Absolutely no mention of character from David Gray. .. "It sets us up lovely to go into a derby, " he says of next week's visit to Tynecastle. More from the Hibs head coach coming up. FT: Rangers 5-1 Kilmarnock Kilmarnock manager Neil Mc Cann tells BBC Scotland: "I feel a wee bit of an injustice when you look at the scoreline, I think it flatters Rangers. "Towards the end, you could see they're good players and we're out on our feet because we've tried to get something from the game. "I'm so disappointed, we lost a man so early in the match. I've got my thoughts on that. But you have to suck it up and continue to trust the players and the game plan - although it goes up in smoke a wee bit. "The instructions didn't differ. We still wanted them to be brave, to get into the game, pass. I felt we were the better side in the first half and it's natural we gassed in the second half. "I would argue that [Thompson] doesn't see [Gassama] coming and Gassama slows up to initiate the contact. That aside, that should be evened up in the second period. "There is clear contact on our striker, John-Jules. James Tavernier is caught on the opposite side. There's no reason for him to go down. I'm told it's not enough contact. I can't understand it. It's not a good enough explanation. " FT: Hibernian 3-2 Dundee United You just know David Gray is going to talk about "character" from his team, managers always do after finding a way to come from behind to win. Hibs are missing several key players and had a lot of new faces involved this evening. It was a patchy performance but the victory keeps them three points in front of Falkirk and four behind Motherwell. The match-winning header from Ante Suto was a beauty too. FT: Rangers 5-1 Kilmarnock Rangers head coach Danny Rohl tells BBC Scotland: "Nice goals. We played with courage. Even after the red card, I felt we had a situation in the box with the opponent. We never played backwards. "It's not always easy against 10 men because you have to break them down. You have to prepare, have good structure, be aware of counter attacks. In the end, the players did a fantastic job today. "This should be the level for Mikey [Moore] again and again, and this is the next step for him. I will not speak today about individual performances, it's about the team. "We spoke in the last two days about making more aggressive runs, at the right moment, to create something. Again and again, we showed we wanted to score more and more. I love the performance today. " FT: Hibernian 3-2 Dundee United That's four successive league defeats for Dundee United - and this one is going to hurt. They took advantage of Hibs' sloppy defending on corners to get in front but crumbled in the closing minutes. FT: Rangers 5-1 Kilmarnock Kilmarnock are at home to St Mirren next Wednesday. That looks like a big one at the bottom. May is a long way off but do the Ayrshire side need a victory to avoid finishing in the bottom two? FT: Livingston 1-2 Falkirk Livingston have just one win from 25 games, which came in August. .. And yet they are still just six points behind Kilmarnock. FT: Livingston 1-2 Falkirk Michael Stewart Former Scotland midfielder on BBC Sportsound Marvin Bartley has to focus on the positive of a much better second half, but there needs to something tangible - and quick - if Livingston are to have any chance of catching Kilmarnock. FT: Rangers 5-1 Kilmarnock Our pundits have been purring over the performance of Mikey Moore tonight. The 18-year-old on-loan Spurs attacker was a blur of clever movement and took his goal very well. A late, late show from Hibs, who were 2-1 down going into the 89th minute. Elie Youan levelled from close range and Ante Suto made it a debut to remember with a lovely header. Martin Boyle had given the hosts a first-half lead with a deflected shot, while Ross Graham and Max Watters struck from corners to give United a lead they could not hold on to. Nicky Cadden deserves a lot of credit since he supplied the crosses for the dramatic home comeback. Hibernian 3-2 Dundee United Still going at Easter Road. .. Dundee United have got everyone pushed up the pitch, bar the goalie. Livingston 1-2 Falkirk Marvin Bartley's first game as Livingston manager ends in defeat. Falkirk were the best side of the first half, taking a two-goal lead thanks to goals from Kyrell Wilson and Louie Marsh. Livingston fought their way back into it with Connor Mc Lennan's second-half goal but despite pushing everything forward in pursuit of an equaliser their winless run continues. Ante Suto A debut goal for the Croatian forward as Ante Suto meets another great cross from Nicky Cadden. He does so well to loop a header over the despairing dive of Ashley Maynard-Brewer. Hibs were in disarray not so long ago, now the home fans are bouncing. A stroll for Rangers as they move three points behind league leaders Hearts after dismantling 10-man Kilmarnock. Ahead after only three minutes, when Killie had Dom Thompson sent off and James Tavernier scored the resulting penalty, it took them a while to get the second but the floodgates opened after that. Bojan Miovski curled in a brilliant second from the edge of the box, while Andreas Skov Olsen, Oliver Antman and Mikey Moore all scored from close range. However, they did gift Kilmarnock a consolation when Jack Butland's blunder allowed Greg Kiltie an empty net to tuck into. James Tavernier is Rangers' top league scorer this season with seven Rangers 5-1 Kilmarnock Rory Loy Former Rangers striker on BBC Sportsound He deserves that. Mikey Moore has been the best player on the pitch. Mikey Moore Elie Youan It's messy, but Hibs don't care! A terrific delivery from a free kick by Nicky Cadden creates havoc as Sam Cleall-Harding makes a meal of his clearance. Youan couldn't miss from less than a yard out. Game on again. Kyrell Wilson gave Falkirk an early lead at the Set Fare Arena At a glance Livingston's winless run stretches to 25 games as Marvin Bartley era starts with defeat Falkirk boost their top six hopes with valuable three points on the road Kyrell Wilson scores early opener for the Bairns before Louie Marsh nets first Falkirk goal as Connor Mc Lennan offers Livi hope Marvin Bartley endured a disappointing start to life as Livingston manager as the relegation-threatened hosts fell to Scottish Premiership defeat by Falkirk. An early goal from Kyrell Wilson put the Bairns on the road to victory before Louie Marsh doubled their lead. The hosts pulled a goal back in the second half, but their long winless run continues. After just six minutes Barney Stewart carried the ball into the Livingston half before picking out Marsh, but the midfielder's shot was deflected into the path of Wilson. The forward controlled the ball quickly and then fired a powerful shot past Jerome Prior from a narrow angle to give Falkirk the lead. The visitors thought they had doubled their lead three minutes later when Stewart headed in from a Calvin Miller cross but a video assistant referee (VAR) review showed the in-form striker had just drifted offside. Livingston were moving the ball about well when in possession but Falkirk were on top and settled into their familiar style. Their attacking intent was rewarded with a second goal after 25 minutes. Miller took a corner from the right that was headed to the back post by Stewart and Marsh was on hand to finish from just a couple of yards out. That was enough to give the visitors a comfortable half-time lead but after the restart, Livingston quickly got back into the game. An almighty scramble in the Falkirk box saw the ball fall to Connor Mc Lennan and he prodded an instinctive finish past Scott Bain to pull a goal back. That gave Bartley's side belief and they began to get on the front foot more, opening up the game to chances for both sides. At the end of a neat passing move, Miller raced through and rounded Jerome Prior but the Falkirk winger saw his shot bounce back off the post. Livingston threw everything at it in the latter stages but couldn't find the goal they needed to prevent Bartley's first game as boss ending in defeat. Livingston's decision to move David Martindale into a new sporting director role while Bartley stepped up from assistant to boss was designed to give a freshness and new manager bounce, while maintaining some continuity. In his first game in charge, the former club captain would have seen some encouraging signings in the performance, but defeat only underlined the size of the task ahead. Bartley made changes to the team, and tried to bring some solidity to a side who have conceded far more than any other team in the league, only to see his team trailing after six minutes. That, and a second goal conceded from a set piece, could have seen heads go down and Falkirk allowed to build on what they had. Whatever Bartley said at half-time had an effect and his side came out with real belief, that Mc Lennan's goal helped to build. The Lions never gave up on their hopes of taking a point, and had some chances to get an equaliser. Ultimately, the quality was lacking and the team looked like a side scrapping rather than imposing themselves on the opposition and as Bartley conceded, it's "a massive task" to climb to safety. Falkirk manager John Mc Glynn set his side out to take advantage of Aberdeen's match being postponed, and a chance to open up a gap on seventh place. From that simple objective, it was mission accomplished. Mc Glynn's side have shone since being promoted in the summer and they looked settled in their style and how they intended to go about the business of winning. What might concern Mc Glynn is how his side got dragged into a battle in the second half, with the result far from certain in the latter stages even though Falkirk had completely bossed the first half. The league table makes for happy reading for Bairns fans but the experienced boss knows things could have been more comfortable. Falkirk manager John Mc Glynn tells BBC Scotland: "I think in the second half we made it hard for ourselves. I think in the first half we played extremely well. "We scored a really good goal, had another one ruled out for offside, and then got that two goal cushion. "We were delighted at half-time and asked for more of the same. Fair play to Livingston, they got that goal back early in the second half. "It was a bit nerve-wracking and we made it a bit more difficult for ourselves than it needed to be. We had chances to kill it off, hit the post, and there were other shots. "We've not got the greatest record here so it is all about winning. It was a bit more stressful than it needed to be. But credit to Livingston for having a better second half performance. "The fans were magnificent. We're taking big numbers everywhere we go so credit to them. We needed them to help us get over the line and they helped us no end. " Livingston manager Marvin Bartley: "When you play games of football and you cost yourself with two goals in the first half, maybe people will say you don't deserve anything. "In the second half we got a massive reaction from the players but I told them we shot ourselves in the foot twice with the goals we conceded and we need to eradicate that if we're to have a chance of staying in this league. "At half time I told them that at 2-0 down there's two ways you can look at it. You can say 'That's us done' or you can show a reaction with a bit of fight and a bit of spirit. "We need to take care of the things we can control and for me we didn't do that today. "It's one game. There will be a lot of learning from that. "We've got a massive game at Celtic Park, and all games are massive for us now, but we'll look back on that with the staff, tell the players what they did well, what we didn't do so well, and improve. " Livingston face a trip to play Celtic next Wednesday night (19: 45 GMT), while for Falkirk it's the magic of the Scottish Cup this weekend, with an away tie against Stenhousemuir (19. 30) live on BBC Scotland.
