The 25-year-old has made 29 appearances for Arne Slot's side this season but missed Wednesday's Champions League victory over Qarabag due to illness. Despite the Serie A side exploring a move, Slot said the midfielder is ready for selection as he gears up for Saturday evening's crunch Premier League match against Newcastle. 'Curtis (Jones) is again available, ' the Reds boss confirmed on Friday. 'He was sick, as I said, but he is available. ' Ironically, Liverpool have been credited with interest in Inter right-back Denzel Dumfries. However, as it stands, the Premier League champions are not in active contact for a right-back. Liverpool have a lengthy injury list with Conor Bradley out for the season and Jeremie Frimpong a few weeks.   Inter Milan want to sign Liverpool star Curtis Jones but the Reds do not want to sell this window Liverpool have been credited with Denzel Dumfries interest but have not yet contacted Inter Ibrahima Konate is back training and will return to the squad for the Newcastle tie but Joe Gomez is unlikely to make it after hurting his hip.   Slot said: 'Frimpong will definitely not be in the squad tomorrow, so he is out for a few weeks. But [it's] not as bad as we thought he would be out. It's something positive from something not so positive. 'Ibou trained with us yesterday and trains with us today and will be in the squad tomorrow. 'Joe (Gomez) will not be available but that doesn't have to take much longer anymore, but he will not be available for the weekend. ' For his part, Inter defender Dumfries is stepping up his own rehabilitation after surgery on a fractured ankle last month. He is targeting a return for Inter's Champions League play-off with Bodo/Glimt next month. Inter have been talking to Genoa about England U21 right back Brooke Norton-Cuffy.
