Kilmarnock 2-2 St Mirren End to end stuff at Rugby Park. Just after St Mirren pass up their opportunities, Kilmarnock go up the other end and a fierce shot from Findlay Curtis forces a great stop from Shamal George. Falkirk 1-0 Dundee The visitors are pressing for a leveller here. Yan Dhanda bends in a brilliant free-kick from the right and Ryan Astley's header flies just over the top. Kilmarnock 2-2 St Mirren Two good chances for St Mirren, but neither taken. First a sustained attack ends up with Dan Nlundulu finding space in the box with the ball at his feet but he scuffs his shot and it's easily collected by Kelle Roos. Moments later, Roland Idowu's cross-shot is inches away from Declan John connecting. Motherwell 0-1 Rangers We've got a change for Motherwell, with Oscar Priestman on for Elliot Watt. Watt has only just returned from injury, after all. Second half under way. Robbie Muirhead (pen) Kasper Schmeichel dives to his left and Robbie Muirhead goes down the middle to level the scores. Is there a shock on the cards? Falkirk 1-0 Dundee Nicky Hogarth wasn't due to be playing tonight, but Falkirk's backup goalkeeper comes up with a huge stop a minute after his team take the lead. Jon Cotterill latches on to a Luke Graham ball down the left, cuts inside and whips one towards the top corner. A fine save at full stretch. Kilmarnock 2-2 St Mirren Bit of concern for St Mirren as goalscorer Killian Phillips goes down with nobody around him. He clutches his left ankle and it looks as if his night might be over as the physios attend to him. A minute later he's back on his feet, keen to continue. Might be the hopes of a hat-trick that's helped with the pain/ Celtic 1-0 Livingston Oh, hello. Robbie Muirhead is wiped out by Reo Hatate. Celtic 1-0 Livingston The Celtic captain goes into the book for a cynical shoulder charge on Stevie May. He wags his finger, but he knew what he was doing. Ben Broggio A massive impact from the teenager on loan from Aston Villa. Dundee fail to deal with a couple of clipped balls into their box, and Broggio takes full advantage, sweeping home off the ankle of Jon Mc Cracken. Celtic 1-0 Livingston Liam Scales heads over the top from Sebastian Tounekti's floated cross. Celtic's wasteful finishing has continued after the break. .. Killian Phillips St Mirren draw level and it's a second for Phillips. Mika Mandron puts a low cross in from the left and Kilmarnock keeper Kelle Roos can only palm it out. Phillips is on hand to smash the ball home. The goal is reward for a bright start to the second half for the visitors, who replaced Jayden Richardson with Dan Nlundulu at the break. The 19: 45 starts resume. .. Nico Raskin's sixth-minute goal splits the teams, in the only clinical moment of the first-half. Rangers do look dangerous on the break, while possession has been dominated by Motherwell, who are playing their typically fast, one-touch football. It's been a delight at times but they aren't carving out many clear-cut opportunities. When they have, Rangers have just about denied them - with Raskin nodding a chance off the line. HT: Falkirk 0-0 Dundee Brian Mc Lauchlin BBC Sport Scotland at The Falkirk Stadium Not too much to shout about, with very few opportunities in what are dreadful conditions. Time for a pie and a Bovril. .. Motherwell 0-1 Rangers Youssef Chermiti is down in the box, on the receiving end of a clumsy looking aerial challenge from a Motherwell defender. It's Elliot Watt who leans into the Rangers striker. Play goes on. Will they come back and have a look at this? An entertaining first 45 at Rugby Park. St Mirren had a dream start when Killian Phillips' cute backheel put the visitors in front and they were comfortable for the majority of the half but it all turned around in three minutes before the break. Kilmarnock had shown plenty of willing in their search for an equaliser and Findlay Curtis provided the quality that delivered it. Greg Kiltie had an easy job to nod in the inviting ball that levelled the scoreline. The hosts took the lead with a stunning finish. Tyreese John-Jules met a deflected shot with a perfectly executed volley of his own to put Killie in front. St Mirren might feel they deserved better but it sets up an exciting second half. Motherwell 0-1 Rangers Derek Ferguson Former Rangers midfielder on BBC Sportsound A little mistake from Welsh and it presents itself for Chermiti. He's got to strike that down into the ground. You could say he's hit it maybe too well but it's straight at the keeper. It’s a golden opportunity. You don’t get any better chance than that. Motherwell 0-1 Rangers Huge chance for Rangers and Youssef Chermiti. Stephen Welsh's header is blocked by the Rangers striker and he's one-on-one, but he pokes his effort straight at the keeper and lashes the rebound off a covering defender. That should really be 2-0. A goalless first half in the driving rain at Falkirk. That's not to say it's been a dull affair, with both teams playing neat, progressive football despite the conditions. Dundee will be happier with their performance. They've looked dangerous in possession, with Luke Graham in particular driving the play forward. They haven't created many clear-cut chances, with Graham and Simon Murray seeing efforts blocked, and Cameron Congreve firing wide. Despite Dundee's positive play, Falkirk had the best chance of the match, Dylan Tait's close-range prod blocked and cleared. At a glance Ben Broggio, 19, sweeps home first Falkirk goal Yan Dhanda misses late penalty for Dundee Visitors fail to score for 13th time in 25 league matches Falkirk level on points with fifth-placed Hibernian Dundee four clear of Kilmarnock in relegation play-off berth Ben Broggio's first Falkirk goal propelled the dogged hosts past Dundee and level on points with fifth-placed Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership. In driving rain, the 19-year-old Aston Villa loanee produced a ruthless touch, firing home 10 minutes into the second half after Dundee failed to properly clear their box. Up to then, Dundee had been the stronger side, fashioning opportunities for Simon Murray and Luke Graham without forcing Falkirk's backup goalkeeper Nicky Hogarth into action, albeit Dylan Tait squandered the biggest chance, miscuing from point-blank range. Broggio's goal stirred Dundee further, Joel Cotterill's bending drive forcing Hogarth to leap to his left, before Ryan Astley headed narrowly over and Brad Halliday's rasped volley was too high. They had a golden opportunity to grab a point in the fifth minute of stoppage time when Joe Bevan cantered through on goal and was felled by Hogarth, but Yan Dhanda lashed his penalty wide. Dhanda's miss, and Dundee's profligacy, leaves Steven Pressley's side just three points clear of Kilmarnock in the relegation play-off position. John Mc Glynn emphasised the need to use his squad amid a hectic programme, with Calvin Miller and Brad Spencer among those carrying knocks and given finishers' roles. Mc Glynn had made five changes for Sunday's Scottish Cup win over League One Stenhousemuir, and made one more for his team's return to Premiership duty. While Dundee edged the midfield battle and had their moments down the left flank, Hogarth had very little to do, with his defenders contributing vital blocks when shooting opportunities arose. Where Dundee were toothless or wasteful, Broggio was clinical. The teenager's neat finish - one touch to cushion on the knee, another to stroke home - proved decisive, and enhanced his growing reputation among the Falkirk fanbase. Dundee are the lowest scorers in the Scottish Premiership, with a measly 19 goals from 25 matches. This was the 13th time they have failed to score in a league game this season. Pressley can be encouraged by his team's ability to build attacking phases, using the pace and trickery of Tony Yogane down the left or the bustling forays of Graham from the back and through the middle. What they lacked, yet again, was a killer touch. In fact, for all their fluency and all their endeavour, Hogarth was seldom troubled until he chopped down Bevan at the death. Dhanda - whose goal, from the spot, settled this fixture in December - fluffed his lines. A fitting summation of Dundee's predicament.
