The 21-year-old, who joined Arsenal from Fulham in 2015 at the age of 11, has made a solid start to the season with 14 appearances for the U21s in both Premier League 2 and Vertu Trophy. He has scored five goals and added seven assists. Charles Sagoe Jr, in Premier League 2 action last month, is joining Kalmar until January 2027 He has made one senior appearance for the Gunners, against Brentford in the Carabao Cup in September 2023, and spent last season on loan at Swansea City and Shrewsbury Town in League One. Sagoe Jr, who can also play in midfield, signed his first professional contract with Arsenal in 2022 and Mikel Arteta named him on the bench for their 3-0 Champions League win at Slavia Prague in the Champions League in November. He will spend the whole of 2026 with the newly promoted Swedish top-flight side.
