Arsenal could well go into the summer as Premier League champions, and Mikel Arteta has big plans for the next transfer window, too. To that end, Sport Witness have relayed a report from Sport BILD outlining Arsenal's desire to sign three top young players from the Bundesliga. However, elite clubs such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man City, and Liverpool are also keen on the €65m-rated left-back. The Gunners could also snap up another Frankfurt starlet with interest in Jean‑Mattéo Bahoya brewing. The attacking midfielder has caught the eye this season with three goals and four assists. Four Four Two understands Frankfurt would demand around €40m for the 20-year-old, with a number of English sides joining Arsenal in the hunt.
Losing those two players would be damaging enough for Frankfurt, but there's also a belief that Arsenal could steal one of the German side's transfer targets, too. Hertha Berlin ace Kennet Eichhorn is wanted by Frankfurt, but the Gunners may well lure him to the Premier League and add him to their collection of highly-rated youngsters. With Max Dowman, already making waves in North London, could Eichhorn give him a run for his money next season? 16-year-old Kennet Eichhorn is valued at €20m according to Transfermarkt. With FA Cup action back this weekend, Arsenal's next game is a quarter-final against Southampton this Saturday.
